HI
i just purchased a secondhand sat dish with receiver and optus card.
I can get the standard channels it permits but was just wondering if anyone knows what is available on the other satellites that are in range of Australia, specifically WA. such as optus b3, intelsat 8 etc etc.
I only have a 85cm dish with the ku band LNB and a standard type strong box.

I know the new VASt system is online now but i got this for the right price.

I have done a bit of a search online, amongst the very technical jargon etc i have read that there are christian channels and other news channels available but couldnt make much sense out of what is required to get them. im not after anything specific just curious.

Are there channels out there where you dont need a card at all?

any info would be appreciated and links to some good info would also be great.

Thanks
